pynetdicom.sop_class.uid_to_service_class¶

pynetdicom.sop_class.uid_to_service_class(uid: str) → Type[ServiceClass][source]¶

Return the ServiceClass object corresponding to uid.

Parameters: uid (pydicom.uid.UID) – The SOP or Service Class UID to use to find the corresponding Service Class.
Returns: The Service Class corresponding to the SOP Class UID or the base class if support for the SOP Class isn’t implemented.
Return type: subclass of service_class.ServiceClass
