- An Implementation Class UID Sub-item. - The Implementation Class UID Sub-item allows communicating Application Entities to identify each other at Association establishment. -

 - Encoding - When encoded, an Implementation Class UID Sub-item has the following structure, taken from Tables D.3-1 and D.3-2 (offsets shown with Python indexing).
